More and more banks are processing transactions under new protocol

Last autumn, UPC has received the confirmation of successful processing 3DS 2.1 acquiring transactions from Visa and Mastercard.

Five banks have already switched to the new protocol. One of them is Bank Pivdenniy.

Anna Havlytska, Head of Acquiring Department, Bank Pivdenniy:

“Our Bank always supports innovative projects that implement UPC together with international payment systems. All necessary configuration and connection for 3DS 2.1 was completed in a short time. Our online merchants received more secure channel with authentication of the cardholder and the best speed of transactions”.

3DS 2.1 provides fast and easy authentication for payment. This is possible due to secure authentication on issuer side, which avoids additional authentication on the client's transactions, which are recognized by card issuer as low-risk operation.

UPC supports and implements innovative projects and requirements in area of Internet operations and provides a new level of online payment security for its customers.
