The Cloudflare service offers many high-quality and valuable features that help detect and prevent attacks.

UPC is constantly working on improving its services, with a primary focus on the quality. A modern service should be well-protected and always available. Distributed DDoS attacks are specifically aimed at availability.

UPC places great emphasis on proactively ensuring comprehensive information security at all levels. DDoS protection is implemented at the network, transport, and application layers (L3, L4, and L7).

Our company has integrated the Cloudflare cloud service, which is one of the global leaders in DDoS attack protection. Cloudflare utilizes cutting-edge and advanced technologies and fully complies with international standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR (EU Cloud Code of Conduct), ISO 27701, ISO 27018, SOC2, and others.

Currently, UPC has successfully completed the project to transition the 3D Secure (3DSA) service for Ukrainian and European banks under the protection of Cloudflare.

Projects for migrating other online services (e-commerce and others) are ongoing.

The improvements from the implementation of Cloudflare are already noticeable. For example, in recent attacks, Cloudflare easily thwarted DDoS attacks with a 500 million requests. Despite the large volumes of requests and traffic during the attacks, UPC customers received the highest level of the service.
