Card payments

In the first half 2019, the share of purchases by cards at POS-terminals of the volume of transactions increased by 58,2% of all financial transactions by cards of UPC’s bank-clients .
For example, In the first half 2019 this indicator equals 57,1%. The total number of purchases by card increased by 36,6% and was 4,5 transactions per month for one active card Also,it was increased the share of purchases by cards by 26,8% of volume transactions comparing with the same period in 2018. The average amount of the check was 641 UAH.
It is worth mentioning that 44% of all purchases by cards at POS-terminals are contactless, because it is very convenient and fast. Their number increased by 73% and the volume shown double growth.

ATM transactions

Cash withdrawal operations rank second in popularity. In the first quarter of 2019, theshare in the number of transactions reached 29.8( ATM—28,4%, at POS – 1,4%) of all financial transactions. The number of such transactions increased by 19,8% and the avarage check equals 2 800 UAH. The number of cash withdraw in a bank increased by 25,4% and the volume of transactions rising by 28,1%.

Internet payments

In current year, comparing with the same period of 2018, the number of Internet transactions rising by 39,3% and their volumes increased by 21,0%. Average check amount equals 482 UAH.
The share of online-purchases and their volumes increased by 9,3% of all financial transactions.

Online card-to-card transfers

This payments shown 2.6 times growth.
The share of money transfers in 2019 obtained 2,8%. In the first half of 2019 such transfers growth 2,7 with average check 2 100 UAH.

Over the six month of 2019 dynamics of payment card market continues to show positive growth in all directions.
