The Ukrainian Processing Center, in collaboration with Servus Systems Integration LLC, a leader in payment solutions integration, announces the successful completion of the project for implementing Primary Account Reference (PAR) processing on Verifone X990 POS terminals.
This project significantly expands the possibilities for cashless payments in Ukraine, offering new levels of convenience and security to merchants and their customers. PAR is a unique payment instrument identifier used for clearer identification of the card, whether it is used in physical form or tokenized format.
This innovation provides several advantages, including:
- Enhanced Transaction Clarity: Merchants can clearly identify the type of card used for payment, simplifying the payment processing and reducing the likelihood of errors.
- Improved Customer Loyalty: With PAR, merchants can automatically recognize customers in their loyalty programs and offer them personalized benefits.
- Increased Security: PAR helps prevent fraud as it complicates the use of stolen or counterfeit cards.
"Implementing PAR on Verifone X990 POS terminals is a significant step forward for cashless payments in Ukraine," said Andriy Berezyuk, Commercial Director of UPC.
"We are proud to collaborate with PJSC Ukrainian Processing Center on this important project. This innovation will help merchants improve customer service, enhance loyalty, and reduce fraud risks," said Ihor Banatov, Managing Partner of Servus Systems Integration LLC.
