Ukrainian Processing Center (UPC) has once again obtained an Attestation of Compliance (AOC) from international payment schemes, confirming that its services meet the most stringent security requirements of PCI DSS, version 4.0.1.
This status signifies reduced risk for clients when making payments, as their data is reliably protected in accordance with international standards. It also strengthens partner confidence: regulatory authorities, banks, other payment providers, and merchants can rely on the quality and security of UPC’s services. As a result, the company has further enhanced its reputation and competitiveness, since PCI DSS compliance is a key trust factor in both the domestic and European payment services markets.
PCI DSS certification confirms:
- compliance with the requirements for operating with payment systems;
- protection of critical payment card data;
- the presence of a modern and flexible security model within the company.
In addition to PCI DSS, UPC holds certificates of compliance with the PCI PIN Security and 3D Secure standards. The company regularly undergoes relevant audits to confirm compliance with security requirements.
PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is an international information security standard developed by the payment schemes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and JCB. It establishes mandatory requirements for protecting payment card data for all organizations that store, process, or transmit it, to prevent fraud and data leaks and to ensure trust in card payments.
