Currently, there are 24 customers that use the smooth and secure authentications with an average amount 8,1 m per month.

For over decade, UPC has been delivering 3DSecure Issuing Services for banks in Europe and Asia by using and enhancing the ActiveAceess by GPayments, an Australian vendor. Since April 2022 the 3DSeccure ActiveAccess Issuing Service has been migrated by UPC team to Vienna, Austria, and is fully secure, compliant with international standards and audits. All our customers use the benefits of Mastercard EMV 3DS 2.2 after successful testing, including Mastercard SCA Acquirer Exemption and Visa EMV 3DS 2.1 and 2.2 for Visa Cards in Visa EU, CEMEA, and AP.

Being focused on constant improvements for Banks and their cardholders, UPC keeps the path of enabling and developing the service and thus, we offer:

•    PSD2 SCA Compliance: Out-of-Band (OOB) Authentication using the biometrics in addition to Usual OTP Delivery via a variety of Options for SMS delivery – SMS Gateway, IBM MQ, and SMSviaEmail (brand new solution by UPC)
•     The secure Risk Evaluation at the time of cardholders' authentication has resulted in Risk Based Analysis (RBA) by UPC with compound rules  and sophisticated decision-making upon the thresholds and values defined with the Bank. If the transaction is considered to be low-risk, the cardholder passes seamless experience of frictionless authentication. Moreover, UPC is ready to adopt Smart Authentication Risk Score by Mastercard for the better risk definition.
•    The cardholders can complete Authentication in browser or mobile application of the merchant, as both channels are supported and App-based authentication is available with a customized feature per each customer.
•     On daily basis UPC provides Monitoring on Performance and Notification in case of Successful Authentication Decrease Threshold. The Bank gets immediate notifications in order to react accordingly.
•    The traffic is secured and anti-DDOS measures have been recently enhanced as well by having implemented the most secure Cloudflare Solution.
