The recently implemented new service for online merchants from UPC — Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) enables buyers to pay for online purchases in their home currency. For example, if a foreign buyers shop on a Ukrainian website, they are offered the option to pay either in hryvnias or in the currency of their card account. During payment, the system proposes two options: the second one automatically converts the amount from the seller’s currency into the buyer’s card currency at the current exchange rate.

Sometimes, choosing to pay in their own currency helps buyers save money and thereby improves the online shopping experience, making the customer journey more attractive.

This service is integrated into the UPC e-Commerce Connect system, which supports payments by bank cards and e-wallets and provides convenient tools for e-commerce development, making the payment process simple, fast, and secure.
