This August UPC carried out the activation of Visa Alias Directive for two more Ukrainian banks – Idea Bank and Pravex Bank. A month prior, another bank has already started providing such services.

Visa Alias is a P2P transfer service that eliminates card numbers from the transactions. A phone number of the recipient is all that needed. A much more convenient, fast and secure operation.

“We installed Visa Alias to make it possible for our clients to transfer money easier and faster. The activation project with UPC was well coordinated and overall pleasant. We are completely satisfied with both the cooperation and the result,” stated by Idea Bank representative, Olha Topal.

“A will to simplify the P2P transfer experience and improve security of such transactions, by removing the card number out of the process, is completely reasonable.
