OTP Bank has integrated a solution from Ukrainian Processing Center (UPC) to enable international card-to-card (C2C) transfers within its mobile application for retail clients. The new functionality is already available to customers and offers additional opportunities for fast, convenient cross-border money transfers. Thanks to this service, Ukrainians, within the limits set by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), can instantly send funds to relatives and friends abroad who need urgent financial assistance.

Integrating such transfers directly into the mobile application allows users to carry out international transactions within a familiar digital environment, without needing to use third-party services or visit bank branches. This significantly improves the accessibility of financial services and meets modern customer expectations regarding the speed, simplicity, and security of payment operations.

The UPC solution ensures transaction processing in line with current international standards, guaranteeing high execution speed and reliable data protection. Thanks to this solution, OTP Bank was able to quickly expand the functionality of its mobile application without significant development time.

“OTP Bank continuously develops the OTP Bank UA mobile application so that customers can access the maximum range of financial services in a convenient digital format, making the app a full-fledged financial assistant regardless of where the client is located. The launch of cross-border card-to-card transfers is another important step in this direction. We aim to make supporting loved ones abroad as simple, fast, and secure as possible, while ensuring the service is intuitive and available in just a few clicks. This is about care and modern borderless banking,” said Maksym Volchenko, Head of Digital at OTP Bank.

“We consistently work to enable banks to implement innovative payment services and improve customer experience quickly. The integration of cross-border transfers at OTP Bank is another example of how UPC’s technological solutions help financial institutions develop their digital channels and meet market demands,” commented Oleksandr Spirin, Director of the E-commerce Department at UPC.
