Ukrainian Processing Center (UPC) has introduced an innovative, inclusive fintech solution—an audio navigation technology for payment pages that enables people with visual impairments to make online payments independently, securely, and conveniently using voice guidance. UPC has already implemented its first project of this kind for a Croatian bank.

The audio navigation technology is integrated directly into the payment process and guides users through every stage of a transaction—from entering payment details to confirming the payment. This significantly reduces reliance on third-party assistance while enhancing both security and independence for users who require this service.

The launch of this inclusive innovation demonstrates the solution’s practical readiness for deployment within the financial sector and creates opportunities for further expansion across European and Ukrainian markets. UPC has expressed its openness to partnering with banks, payment service providers, and financial institutions interested in implementing this inclusive technology.

The initiative comes amid increasingly stringent European Union requirements regarding the accessibility of digital services. In particular, the European Accessibility Act establishes mandatory accessibility standards for financial products and payment solutions, ensuring equal access to services for people with disabilities. In this context, inclusivity is becoming not only a matter of social responsibility but also a key factor in regulatory compliance.

“Audio navigation is not merely an additional feature; it is an integral part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at creating barrier-free financial services. UPC will continue investing in solutions that ensure equal access to digital financial tools, to make inclusivity an essential component of modern payment services,” commented Anton Romanchuk, CEO of UPC.
