Ukrainian Processing Center (UPC) has successfully passed its annual assessment for compliance with the international PCI 3DS standard and confirmed its status as a service provider in the field of 3-D Secure.

Since 2012, UPC has been providing 3-D Secure services to its issuer and acquirer clients, including risk-based authentication of payment cardholders during online transactions, using 3-D Secure 2 (3DS2) technology. Each year, UPC undergoes a comprehensive evaluation of its services for compliance with the requirements of international payment systems in the areas of physical and logical security.

Based on the latest assessment, recently completed, UPC’s the infrastructure, personnel, and processes have been confirmed as compliant with PCI 3DS requirements. This confirmation ensures that the environments where 3-D Secure is implemented meet high security standards and provide reliable 3DS2 authentication during online payments.

UPC systems support the modern 3DS2 protocol, which significantly expands authentication capabilities on the issuer side. This improves the user experience and provides an additional layer of protection for online transactions.
